About Us

The Horticultural Network is still in its infancy. . . it has been created by Cornwall Partnership NHS Trust (CPT) and we hope that it will grow and develop for the benefit of the many community gardening and social and therapeutic horticulture groups that exist within Cornwall.

In the short-term, and to get the Network up and running and find out if you would like to see it continue on, CPT organised a workshop held at the DCLI Museum in Bodmin on the 25th April (click here for details).

Our medium-term aim is the production and publication of a community gardening directory. We hope to feature as many groups and projects - big and small - as possible. We hope to have these directories available at GP surgeries, libraries, volunteer centres etc across the county, as well as it being available to download from the internet. If you would like to submit your project or group - please click here.

In the long-term, we hope The Network will act as a resource point providing opportunties to:

  • share information and ideas
  • organise workshops and events
  • provide advice and information
  • stay in touch with members through newsletters

If you would like to be involved in setting up and developing the Network, please contact Paul Tyler or Tim Carthew:
